Day 4 Wine N Art

Some more great wine label art...above a label from Van Duzer Vineyards and Winery in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. Oregon has  become quite well known for fabulous Pinot Noirs...the wet climate, cool pacific breeze is essential to growing these complex grapes.

Day 3 but actually 1.....

Two things I love to experience...wine and art. California is well known for it's Napa Valley Wine Country...but there are MANY other beautiful and amazing vineyards and wineries around the state. One area I absolutely love is the Santa Cruz Mountain wineries....AMAZING!! Not to say other areas are not fabulous as well...take Livermore Valley...also some brilliant wines and some beautiful tasting rooms. Both of the afore mentioned areas for the most part do not charge you to taste and if they do it's minimal and refunded if you make a purchase...unlike Napa whose tasting fees can be pretty outrageous...anyways....in addition to the lovely wines, atmosphere and scenery, many of the wineries feature quite alot of cool art.

One of my very favorite wineries is called Bonny Dune Vineyard. They have a great variety of wines from both imported grapes and local.

The experience you have when you taste at Bonny Dune is like no other...all seriousness is washed away here,,and it's a very fun experience.

Bonny Dune wine labels are all made by various artists.

Highly recommend Bonny Dune as well as many other wineries in the area check out
